Reviews should contain not only a short summary of the book, but examples of why you liked or didn’t like the book. For example, instead of saying “This is the best book ever!” say ” This was one of the best books I’ve ever read because the characters were so real. When I read this book, I forgot everything else going on around me.” Another example of a reason you don’t like a book might be. “This book wasn’t very interesting. I didn’t think that the kids really would act like that. They were acting more like grown-ups.” Or you might write, “This book was too hard for me to read. I think it would be better for someone in middle school.”
